[ragequit] Tutorial is BROKEN

Tutorial #2 (about traveling and docking)... I came to this station again and again, but its just didn't work. My stream of this fail (in russian, but totally understandable emotions):

WTF!? I played dozens of MMO's, some of them was space themed - from Eve Online to Star Citizen... But its was the worst tutorial experience which I had ever. *ragequit*

I'm happy that I tried the game at my friends' account. I thought to buy it, but now I would think twice before I login there again... Sad.

Make sure you have the station targeted. You can set your throttle to 100% and when you are 7 seconds(not less) away from it set your throttle to 75% and don't change it again, you can bind a key to it. Then drop out when it says safe to do so.

In normal space you can use lateral thrusters, to move your ship up/down/left/right/forward/back.

What exactly are you having problems with ?

Im not going to watch 30min of you playing a tutorial but after skiping it noticed you were a bit bad at aiming for the mailslot (like all new players are, nothing bad here) and you didn't request to dock. If you want to dock you must request to dock when you are closer than 7500m

edit: also you cant supercruise if you're to close to a stattion (hint: you don't need to be aimed at your destination target in order to supercruise)

A tutorial that tells you to go back into Super Cruise because you low waked 16km from the station is broken.
The rest of your problems are im assuming issues with you correctly discerning instructions in a second language. For that I would recommend watching YouTube videos rather than doing the tutorials.

1- Keep your speed indicator in the Blue area while in Supercruise. This will prevent you from going to fast and you will get the "safe to drop supercruise" message earlier and plenty of time to disengage it before you would overshoot it.

8- The game is telling you why you cannot go into supercruise because your hardpoints/gear/scoop have been deployed. You must have pressed another button by mistake. Again, pay attention to what is on your screen. You had your hardpoints (weapons) out, and that is why you could not do supercruise.

9- Still not paying attention to what the game is telling you, and what your screen is telling you

10- Stay in the blue, again, stay in the blue

11- Pay attention to what is being said on the screen

12- You did not pay attention to the "Safe Disengage Ready" again, Press J when you see that message.

13- You did not pay attention to the "Safe Disengage Ready" again, Press J when you see that message.

14- You put out your weapons out again that is why it said "no fire groups" on your screen, cause you accidently put your weapons out, though you have no weapons.

I stopped watching, not going to finish:

Your problem is you are not paying any attention at all.
You are probably right, you should not play this game because it requires that you pay attention to your screen, something that you apparently cannot do.

I've noticed a lot of the people who complain about things not working/don't make sense are the ones who don't pay attention or even bother with the tutorial videos.

Yeah, I was literally making these notes as I watching the video. Think of it as script of what I was saying if I was actually there in the same room as him. Places where I am repeating myself, is a different try to get to his destination, that is how many times before I quit the video that he missed the mark because he wasn't paying attention to what is being said on his screen.

When they can't get the bare basics done it starts to seem like they are doing it on purpose.
I wont lie, had a lot of problems when i first started..took me awhile to understand how things work but the ingame tutorial and the tutorial videos helped me a lot and if i wasn't sure about anything i did a quick look online.
On another note, customizing the binds on my joystick to how i like it made things a lot easier.

I think multitasking while trying to learn ED and talking in a let's play vid is a VERY bad idea. The game is complicated to get into. You have to notice all the things that are shown on your HUD. When you try to entertain people because you are making a video this won't work.

It's all shown in the tutorials, but you really have to be attentive. Also playing the same tutorial multiple times until you can do all the stuff may be a good idea. In game you have to do this blind and deaf later.

He said it was Stream not Let's Play. I sometimes go on twitch and watch some newbies play the game. Their struggle amuses me and people in chat who are giving wrong or not completely correct advices is the cherry on top.
