Why can't we have storage?
I know we got module storage which is handy but seriously why can't we have commodity storage? It would be simple to implement and make perfect sense. I am getting annoyed that I have to carry around a bunch of junk that I need but not until I am ready to see an engineer.

I know we don't have it and that's just how it is but really......why?!?!

we need data and commodity storage before we need module storage but EDev thinks otherwise!

they gave us mass data and material storage. we have module storage and limited commodity storage is soon

And another thing, why can't I park my Python and leave stuff in the cargo hold and jump in my Eagle? I mean really?!? I can park my pickup with the bed full of gravel and jump in my car. I don't have to empty the gravel or load it in my car first.

I don't mind rules that make sense but stupid arbitrary pointless rules just irritate the crap out of me. Just at least let me park my dang ship as it is, without emptying it out first. I mean that would be simple enough. I might just buy a ship and use it for storage. Come on Devs! Get er dun!!

there are a thing called unknown artifacts that shut down stations. griefers could gather them and store then in mass ammounts at a station by ship switching to instantly shut down stations

I would just make that stuff materials instead of cargo, and increase the material limit. Like I believe your pilot is actually carrying traces of plutonium on his person anyway!

I have a novel solution to fix that. Let's have UAs effect the player's storage vault the way they effect stations. If a player stockpiles more than say, 3 UAs, their bankvault becomes UA bombed - forcing the player to repair it and destroying all 3 UAs.

Well I think UA's need to be nerfed hard. Why would a station buy something that causes that much trouble? And why wouldn't they just blow up a ship they catch carrying them?

Another case of arbitrary rules that make no sense.

How about we make UAs an illegal cargo, as a start.

I think they are. You have to sell to the black market. I think anyway.

Well at least it looks like it's coming, that's good news.

Commodity storage? Like, buy 10 Travel Guides, store them, hop in a chopped Asp with 40 LY range, fly to Colonia with little to no risks, retrieve GTGs from storage and contribute? Not gonna happen!

no, storage, when i remember that correctly from the thread, is only available in engineer-outposts. as long as there isn't an engineer in colonia you wont see storage there

There aren't any engineers within 20K LY of Colonia.

I don't understand. How could you pick them up in Colonia if you stored them in the bubble?
