Unknown/Sensor Fragments (From destroyed Unknown Artifact/Thargoid Sensor)

I need 25 fragments, I've yet to find even one. I've spent ages dropping into signal sources 50-100ly outside around Maia and I am only finding Thargoids scanning wrecks.

Where is the best place to farm these items these days? This is to unlock Professor Palin.

HIP 17862 | Planet 6C A | Coordinates = 30.32, -98.58 (Thargoid Sensors can be found here)
HIP 17403 | Planet A 4 A | Coordinates = -34.98, -141.41 (Thargoid Sensors can be found here)

Go to either of these locations. You will find Thargoid sensors on the ground. You can destroy them to get fragments. (Not sure if it works in SRV... worst case, take them on board, fly up, release, and destroy with ship). Have a care, Thargoid Sensors are corrosive, and you can't get corrosive resistant racks until you get access to Palin.

Then just login and log out to reset the instance and get more sensors. Suggest doing it in solo as if anyone else is there they will lock the instance.

Yes, its exploity as hell, but if you don't want to do the signal source scanning thing, or take on military conovys carring them, then this is the other way.

At HIP 17862 Get about 500-1000Ls away from any of the bodies in the system, fly around in supercruise. When you find a USS, lock on. If it shows as "Anomaly Detected" you've found one. Should only take 15 or 20 minutes to get as many as you need after that.
