I think that's exactly the thing OP is trying to find out :-)
I would suggest to try and run a different version of Elite - either the 32bit version or non Horizons (if you've got Horizons) and see if that clears the mass lock.
Otherwise the only thing that remains is to contact support.
Yes seriously, a week. Now, I haven't had the game running that long. When I said a week, I mean that I would log on for like 45-90mins, try to mess around with it, google stuff while flying, etc. Straight flying, probably a good 5 hours,
Dude, this is the first time I heard this. I just tried it, didn't work unfortunately. Really frustrated. Going to call support tomorrow.
