Stellar exclusion zones

Has there been a change in the exclusion zones around stars since Wednesday's maintenance? Ever since the maintenance I can't get the exclusion ring to appear around stars for fuel scooping. I've tried several different ships, checked all my files, looked through the video options and so on. I haven't roasted my chestnuts this often since I first got a fuel scoop.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Also, some stars namely T Tauri stars and other proto stars look like main sequence stars. I've made the mistake and tried to fuel scoop from them in the past. All I got was some deep fried circuitry.

Keep one eye on your radar - if the star turned red there (getting too close) but you didn't begin scooping yet - it's unscoopable, get away from it. You wouldn't get yourself burned like that.

That's if you forgot to look at your info window after pressing a hyper-jump - it will tell you the class of the next star, so you know if it's not KGB FOAM - don't try to scoop it.
