I can't find c:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings
I'm guessing this has something to do with me being a noob but this doesn't exist on my PC!

It does its just hidden. If your using windows 10 type %APPDATA% in your windows search in the bottom left.Open the folder that shows up.Then click the up arrow next to to the address bar and select the local folder, follow the rest of the path to the file you need.

Please tell me you actually replaced "yourname" with your PC name before copy entire path and paste it in windows explorer.

In ether case AppData is hidden folder and only way to access it is by entering it in path manually or going to start>search (or "run" it works ether way) and enter %appdata%.

You can't access AppData normally by looking for it.

Win+R, enter: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Frontier Developments

then hit return.

Actually it doesn't matter on OS since I am on win 7 and %appdata% works just the same.

That works too so OP has choices.

%localappdata% brings you directly to the appdata/local/ directory ;)

Interesting, though i tend to use roaming folder a bit also for some games. The method i use works for me,i dont have to remember a bunch of different commands then :)

The AppData folder is hidden, but it can be accessed normally, if you configure your file browser to show hidden files/folders.

So, I have the same problem as OP, except I found my AppData folder just fine, but there's no Frontier Developments folder in there. Hidden files are being shown and I've checked the Local, Local Low, and Roaming folders. Nothing. Any thoughts?
