Okay, the G19 Companion App is pretty ♥♥♥♥in cool.

So I came across this[edcodex.info] little thing. Even though I love EDDI to death, this guy has become my go-to third party app to run while playing. No G19 keyboard required.

It has:
- A news/Reddit ticker.
- A music player that also has quick links to streaming ED related radios (customizable)
- A youtube player that also has quick links to the biggest ED related channels (customizable)
- A ticker that displays imported/exported commodities on a system on arrival (with price changes).
- Radio chatter while supercruising.
- EDDB sync and EDDM sync capabilities.
- Player/NPC text-to-voice conversion in real time.

Honestly, pretty damn cool. I'd recommend checking it out as an all-in-one, super breezy thing to have overlayed into your game (which will also remember window position and is actually pretty seamless once you get rid out of the title bar.)

I actually run both eddi and G19.

To avoid too much overlap, i turn off some of the messages in EDDI, this leaves EDDI doing all the comments about systems and details, and G19 does the NPC voices.

If you install the Ivona voice packs you get quite a range of voices. The only thing i did further was edit all the voice variables in G19 so they didn't sound so strange. I've also spoke to the author about a slider for toning down the comms interference, as some voices sound pretty bad with it.

Some of the NPC voice chatter is pretty cool as well, like distress calls for being out of fuel and local starcon says dispatching the fuel rats :D

Certainly adds a lot to the immersion.

Hm got another question. Is that integrated in the game or just a other window? Would like to use it with a Rift that might be a bit of a problem.
Edit: Just startet the tool on normal Screen but it doesnt apear in the game, just as a secound window. Any hints how to do this?
