You could try also checking the logs from the game
Upgraded it 2 months ago maybe.
What i did notice is while other games like GTA or PUBG, all the fans turn on on max after a bit of playing cause it's hot here (GPU and my liquid cooler).
E:D doesn't turns them on, maybe it's just not such a load on the system or i dont even know...
Cooler is Corsair H100i and gpu is AMD RX470 4GB
note: even if you cleaned out the dust, the heatsink compound between the heatsink and the cpu and gpu may be dried out resulting in poor heat transfer. the capicitors can dry out from long periods of high heat as well.
check your logs for heat shutdown warnings and try monitoring your psu voltages with independant meters while playing. if you have never done this with a computer before, i highly recomend you bring your machine to a service center where the proper tools are available to do this safely
also, with ed, overclocking nvidia cards will almost always cause a crash. set your gpu clocks to default and try it again :)
