Stuck in H-jump
As I write this my ship is jumping between Gende and Bragur. I'm a slow typist so it has been quite some time. ... Still jumping. ... Still Jumping!

Hitting escape to get out of the game didn't work. Any ideas other than using task manager to close the client app?

It will eventually either succeed or drop back to the main menu with an error message. That problem is usually caused by network issues somewhere between you and some server in Ireland.

Since I can post I'm assuming the network connection connection is good on my end. I could try resetting my router.

It's probably been going close to 10 min. now.

Resetting the router didn't help.

Kill it with task manager and try again. It sometimes gets funny. If it keeps happening, best hop on the official support forum and maybe post a support ticket so QA and support can have a better look at your and their side.

All as Shad told. Close client window and start game agein after some time. H-jumping is something like "loading window". If you still "jumping" - you are lagged.

kill the ED client and restart - you'll be in the last system before that jump.

I did notice it said I was jumping to the RES (high) which was the last place I went to prior to jumping to Bragur. Maybe it got confused and tried to jump me t6o somthing that was not a system

The outcome:

End task on the client: The animation stopped by the window stayed open.
End task on launcher: That closed the windows, but didn't release the network connection.
ipconfig /renew and restart the launcher: Got me back to the game, although the bounty hunting mission I was on failed due to missing the window of opportunity.

Thanks for the comments.

this happens when for whatever reason (network/server) the client loses touch with the server and can't reconnect. when you get back you start at the last point your client was able to talk to the server.

This may be a hint. If you notice when he looks at the right panel it say "Jumping to Tesla Dock". Tesla dock is not a system. I'd guess the server has no idea where to jump you back into the galaxy.

That's not how it worked for me. When I came back online I was at the system I was targeting before I started the jump. I hadn't been there at all in this session.

It's less to do with the image you are seeing, and more to do with CMDR Shredz / cabalzero editing stuff to his own leisure. - bad typo, apparently needed to fix it...

High wake, and Low wake errors happen from time to time - if you find you can use headlook, (or however you move your head in game) but are in jump animation for about 1 minute or so, you need to force quit your client, and restart your PC, and perhaps also run a reverify.

Usually, a "infinite load door" or hyperspace jump, happens when your PC is having a memory dump - usually a restart after a force quit of the Elite client, solves it.

"He" is actually me. I think the direction of my course somehow reversed itself. This was quite a while back; haven't had this happen lately, but I notice it happens more often when headed for highly populous systems...CG sites or Engineers.

As with all my vids, it's utterly edit-free, despite the desperate claims of certain failed gankers. And it's spelled "leisure".
