It's probably been going close to 10 min. now.
The outcome:
End task on the client: The animation stopped by the window stayed open.
End task on launcher: That closed the windows, but didn't release the network connection.
ipconfig /renew and restart the launcher: Got me back to the game, although the bounty hunting mission I was on failed due to missing the window of opportunity.
Thanks for the comments.
High wake, and Low wake errors happen from time to time - if you find you can use headlook, (or however you move your head in game) but are in jump animation for about 1 minute or so, you need to force quit your client, and restart your PC, and perhaps also run a reverify.
Usually, a "infinite load door" or hyperspace jump, happens when your PC is having a memory dump - usually a restart after a force quit of the Elite client, solves it.
"He" is actually me. I think the direction of my course somehow reversed itself. This was quite a while back; haven't had this happen lately, but I notice it happens more often when headed for highly populous systems...CG sites or Engineers.
As with all my vids, it's utterly edit-free, despite the desperate claims of certain failed gankers. And it's spelled "leisure".
