It is encouraging to know, however, that there are people with a working nV surround setup so I know it is worth it to keep digging on my end. If it would be a general creator's update issue or something then I guess I might as well just give up.
Update: Tried everything I could think of and then as a last ditch effort (re-)installed/upgraded my drivers to the latest official GeForce hotfix drivers version 384.80 which for some reason fixed my inability to launch the game in surround mode. Problem solved. Happy commander here :) .
I was trying to set it up especially for E:D, but the control panel just forever shows the surround option as greyed out, I've literally never seen it be an option.
Supposedly you CAN daisy chain and use surround, but I've just never seen it happen.
Anyone know how to deal with it?
Google just turns up old results for how it's not possible, but even Nvidia's site says it is now =/
DP for your center screen, DVI for your side screens should work.
They only have 2 DP and 2 HDMI on them. The entire point of buying them was to keep my desk area from all that cable clutter.
Plus, Nvidia's site says it should work..
I'll probably just try later one via DP, one via HDMI, and see if that works, it's not an amazing card anyway, so I'll probably save the Surrounding until I pick up a better set up, I was just hoping someone had a "Oh yeah, you just have to do [the thing], and then it works" solution, but thanks anyway.
