nVidia Surround Triple Monitor Setup Anyone?
Cross-posting this from the ED forums since I did not really get any info there whether anyone currently(!) has a working surround setup with a nVidia GPU and 3x monitors. Thanks for any useful info in advance. Here goes...

So, I tried to get back into the game -Steam version w/ Horizons and a Founder level backer- these days which was generally not an easy process as either the launcher or the client kept crashing (found out that you have to close MSI Afterburner -or probably any overlay app for that matter- for the ED launcher to work, had to change settings in my router which I never had to do last I played in 2016, reinstalled the game from scratch etc. etc.) and finally got it to work at least on a single one of my three screens at 2560x1440. So far, so good.

However, before giving up on surround or multiple monitors in general (because the game also did not work when I disabled surround but just had three active monitors), I was wondering if any nVidia users have managed to get a Surround setup working with the current version of the game? Is it even possible and if so how did you do it? Any tips&tricks you might be able to share? For me, if I have more than one active monitor, as soon as I go to fullscreen --> I immediately crash and get the 'send report' window.

Any way to play this game with 3x monitors in fullscreen? It used to work like a charm when I played at launch and also last year but something in the meantime (Win 10 creator's update? bad nVidia drivers? bad ED update?) must have broken it.

Thanks for any help in advance .

Relevant system info:

- ED w/ Horizons 64-bit via Steam
- Windows 10 Professional 64-bit w/ creator's update latest build all updated
- nVidia drivers 382.53
- GTX 1070 (Gainward Phoenix Golden Sample)
- 3x Samsung 27" displays for a total res of 7680x1440

I use surround with elite... Never had a problem with it... Using 3 23" monitors with Nvidia surround bezel corrects to 5920*1080... Worked straight Outta the box

Ah thanks a lot :) . Maybe I should try the bezel correction then. As I said above, I had surround working in the past as well but ever since returning to the game last night, it's been crash-o-rama as soon as I switch ED to full screen.
It is encouraging to know, however, that there are people with a working nV surround setup so I know it is worth it to keep digging on my end. If it would be a general creator's update issue or something then I guess I might as well just give up.

Update: Tried everything I could think of and then as a last ditch effort (re-)installed/upgraded my drivers to the latest official GeForce hotfix drivers version 384.80 which for some reason fixed my inability to launch the game in surround mode. Problem solved. Happy commander here :) .

Does anyone know what the deal is with daisy chaining DP 1.2 monitors on a 770 is?
I was trying to set it up especially for E:D, but the control panel just forever shows the surround option as greyed out, I've literally never seen it be an option.

Supposedly you CAN daisy chain and use surround, but I've just never seen it happen.
Anyone know how to deal with it?
Google just turns up old results for how it's not possible, but even Nvidia's site says it is now =/

DP for your center screen, DVI for your side screens should work.

They only have 2 DP and 2 HDMI on them. The entire point of buying them was to keep my desk area from all that cable clutter.
Plus, Nvidia's site says it should work..

I'll probably just try later one via DP, one via HDMI, and see if that works, it's not an amazing card anyway, so I'll probably save the Surrounding until I pick up a better set up, I was just hoping someone had a "Oh yeah, you just have to do [the thing], and then it works" solution, but thanks anyway.

HDMI for your sidescreens then?
