Working as intended :)
All ships have a shield generator by default on purchase stock fitting so he must have removed it :)
That's what I mean, he removed it :)
Since youre new, also remember that dont buy too much voltage using items.
Your ship has a limit on how much power it can use. Buying new power plants help, and also if you go overboard you need to shut down modules to divert power somewhere else.
For example, you can shut off Fuel Scoop from power grid when you need power to other modules. That way you can still use other modules if youre short on power.
Mostly theres no need to go over the limit.
This, not every ship needs A class modules, in fact you have to alwyas think what you want to achieve and what you're likely to face when you want to fit a ship.
I regularly downgrade classes in modules to get lighter, it's a trade off, that way I get more jump range too, lighter modules, not much of a loss in effect.
I done it once to get cargo space, you just have to be very careful when you dock, undock and land :)
