Alien Ruin Decoding Event

The alien ruins we discovered back in october now have a mission that is automatically given to you by Ram Tah when you dock at any station in the Meene system to head out to the ruins and solve the puzzles there. Millions of credits in rewards for anybody who decodes stuff.

Yes it's 101 total data packages you need. 36 have been found so far. 65 are still missing. But tere hasn't really been any progress the last few days. I think a few days ago we already had like 34 readings.

Each successful data package is equal to 1 million credits, yes.

Just wanted to clarify, there are 101 successfully combinations of scans that need to be completed, 13 of which you are only able to complete in solo. Can you just complete it all in solo or are there some only available in open as well?

Well, I currently have 22 of the data packages unlocked, 13 of them in solo and 9 of them in PG with other players. From what I've read on the Frontier forums you are able to complete this in Solo but as to how I do not know. And yes, there are 101 successful combinations.

Everything can be done in solo. But be aware, that there are more ancient sites to scan, but we haven't found the other sites yet. The current CG should lead or hint us to the location of more sites though.

Also worth of noting is that the ancient site is bugged in open/private. Meaning it shows more than it should, that's why there are new obelisks activating and you can get 36 scans in total. But FD have already said that this is not intended and currently only in solo the ancient puzzle works as intended.

Guys, if you don't know it yet, devs confirmed it's bugged right now... So don't bother for now, until it's fixed. It can even be completed (as in given in to the guy that gave you the quest in the first place) and get it again and start once again.
