Stuck jumping into FSD Supercruise. What do?

I've been stuck like this for the past 20 min.

Leaving Deciat 7's rings after a brief combat run and decide to head out after accidently shooting a fed who just HAPPENED to get in the way.

Now I am stuck in the FSD "Enter supercruise" thing and can't get out. Quick response would be nice, but any suggestions for later would be nice...

You're stuck, and it's a game issue. Try logging off and logging back in, use Task manager or restart your PC if needed. Don't worry about getting in trouble, Combat Logging is forbidden but relogging because the game is stuffed is completely A-OK.

I had worked up half a mil of credits so I didn't want to lose them if ending ED by task manager would lose the save.

Nope, you're fine. You might find yourself in a different place to where you logged out, but it's perfectly safe.

Unless your last jump was made from a place in a close proximity to a neutron or a white dwarf star. Logging back in might put you into a cone and you will be stuck until destroyed. It's probably a good idea to always put some distance from that star before doing your next jump, just in case FDevs servers have a bad day. I did just like that several days ago, when you couldn't complete a jump because of the servers' glitch. Probably saved my six.

Thankfully I was in the Deciet system which is well away from any neutron or white dwarf stars
