Navigate arround col 70

Dang that place, I went past it to an outer rim of the galaxy but now there's permit locked systems arround barnhards loop and I have some trouble navigating arround it. I can't seem to find a lot of room to get past it. tried going arround left, and right just to find more and more col 70. so I try to go over or under but just more col 70 locked systems.

Does anyone know what a good route is to get past col 70 and surrounding locked systems?

I am in systems called OOCHOXT or OOCHOCT.

If I try to plot a 400 LY route it just fails. the galaxy map filters set to include non-scoop stars but it still fails to plot a route.

Hahaha, yeah, I made this same mistake on my way to the Rosette Nebula to unlock Pailin (Rosette is thereabouts a 5,000LY shot "Straight" from the Bubble.

Then the Horsehead and Col sector permits got me, I ended up having to backtrack out towards VY Canis Majoris.

And on top of all this, I did it in a CobraMKIII. With a godlike FSD roll from Martuk (Just over 30LY jump I had) but still. An Asp or DBX would have made the process much less painful.

hmmm lucky me I own an aspX and it has a decent jump range. strikingly I wanted to unlock palin too and had to do that insane 5000 LY from start thing. I've seen some stuff arround the loop, and now wanting to go back to population (outpost or bubble) and that col 70 + others next to it... it's a real pain. Let's see where is VY Canis Majoris at and if I can get back that way.

Ohh dear.... VY Canis Majoris is 800 LY away from my current location.... and the ship navigation computer fails to plot a route...

might be able to get over it. navigating 500 LY straight up, there's HD 54166. from there if I aim towards the core theres OUTOTZ starcluster. it's not locked. might be a way from there.

Yeah, I ended up having to backtrack chunks around the locked sectors, but I used VY CM as my guide post. From there it'll be pretty much a straight shot to Seagull Nebula and then Rosette or you can continue towards Statue of Liberty Nebula I think, but don't quote me there.

On my way back, I went towards Jellyfish Nebula, California Nebula and finally Pailin in the Plaides. What was supposed to be a 10,000LY Trip both ways ended up being like ~3x that. But I like exploring (In bursts lol) and the week or so I spent out there in the void is still my favorite memory in Elite for the relatively short amount of time I've played it. (< 3months)

I managed to get out there via HD 54166 & the OUTOTZ cluster. I'm safely back at aditi and netted arround 49M CR in discovery data. Next up is a trip to the core I guess...
