can't control turrets in multicrew plz help

So I have a friend in the crew seat, has firegroups set and can control things, but we cannot figure out how he can use the turrets. We've been looking for an hour now and can;t find anything.

There is something about 3rd person camera, but we cannot find it in the keybinds anywhere!

Any ideas?

You have to bind a key to initially enter the gunner view, only after accepting the role of gunner by selecting it from the screen between the user's legs.
