I don't know - how would I check if it is?
So, yes you normally would sell it to the Black Market, as it is stolen cargo.
Check the inventory panel itself, if it is listed as stolen, you should be able to sell it on the black market,
If it is not, it normally would be sold at the normal commod market.
But to hear the option is greyed out?
Kinda confusing that, perhaps the wording is what is more throwing me off.
Idk, it could be a number of things, if its greyed out, my main guess would be a server desync.
And if it does not come up listed on the blackmarket my guess is it isnt stolen or illegal contraband.
Now haulage is a different matter, but as you took the cargo from a destroyed wanted ship, it should not be listed as haulage.
hmm, let me know the more finite details, ill try to continue to assist how i can.
there are sevesal ways. if you go into missions and select each faction it will show their state. you can also see the state from one of the tabs in the system map.
as for ua-bombing check the local galnet articles or the weekly ua-bombing report (also in galnet)
Okay, thx for the answer. It is not listed as illegal in my inventory. However I'm allied with the Empire but I'm not in Empire space right now and I got a notification above the fuel gauge that says "Hostile" in red letters. Does that have anything to do with it?
I was there yesterday when shipping my Asp Scout to fly back to the CG after modding some new Class 4 Multicannons.
Seemed to not be UA bombed...
ah! you pissed off the controlling faction so much they won't do business with you anymore.
Hostile only has to do with Powerplay, Wolf 397 (if that is where you are,) Is Edmund Mahon Exploited space, so its hostile territory to you, most likely.
Being Allied with the Empire, Federation, and Alliance, never have anything to do with the state of how you are treated at stations, just the rate at which you get missions attribtuted to those certain factions.
I usually am always allied rep with all 3, mostly cuz bounty claims in any of the superpowers earn you rep for them. (not rank, that is different)
The only thing i can think of, is the state of how your cargo is listed.
IDEA! IF you dont feel like disclosing some screenshots to the forums ( i wouldnt blame you for that.) Feel free to temporarily friend me, and send me some shots, and i will try to make a little more sense of this?
It's just an option atm, cuz this is a new thing for me to hear about.
you sure? I thought if you were hostile with the controlling faction you couldn't use station services.
there's two hostiles. theres powerplay hostile amd theres you killed a bunch of a faction's ships hostile.
Hostile and even unfriendly with a faction, only determines the pay for missions, the speed at cop involvement, the ammount of interdictions you recieve from standard npcs, and the whole shebang in that regard.
If hostile rep prevented you from landing, all PvP griefers would be hobos in Elite.
I dont think it is possible to get hostile rep with the controlling faction in Wolf 397 anyways, as rep for Tod helps the rep for the controlling a tiny bit (I dont know the exact details of how that works, as i seem to always gain rep for them, even though i never run missions, or do activities outside engineering there, always allied, its wierd.)
