How to get blueprints?
I learned that Elite got blueprints while I was gone. What I have not learned is how to get them. I've done google searches, watched youtube videos, and consulted the wiki. They all agree on the fact that there are blueprints, but in no way inform me how to get them.

Please describe in 20 words or less how to get the bluepints. Thank you.

Sometimes the internet is less than useless.

I don't need a 10 page long dictionary on what they are.

I want two sentences explaining how and where to get them.

you mean for engineers? You only have to meet an engineer, gain their trust, visit the modifications menu, and if you dont have all the resources for the upgrade you can pin the blueprint (essentially a shopping list) so you dont forget what you need while you're out livin' it up.

Alright. I had one of them (the blaster guy) on my bookmarks list but I deleted it because I couldn't remember why it was there so I didn't think it was important.

I guess I will have to find one of the explorer ones and get the stuff they want. I just want an upgraded FSD.

Note: in the blueprints, the commodities aren't needed. A patch removed them from the blueprint requirements, but this site hasn't updated yet. Everything else should be accurate.
