can you form a wing with an AI

nope, only ai you can play with is the crew you hire for SLF

Probably you already know... but the AI in X is really dumb... and the Elite AI seems to work together.

The docking computer in Elite is just as stupid as the AI in X. That SOB flew my Anaconda on several occasions right into the stations hull <.<

Evochron let you hire NPC's. That was online. Was a blast too. You could hire a couple of guys to help out with the mission, then release them. They had to be allied or friendly to you, but I quite liked the idea.
