Concordant Sequence - is it any good after a buff?
Title, is it any good? I dont want to switch to beam lasers just to heal my wingmates. So i have been looking for an alternative. We are playing mostly pve in res sites, cz etc. does 1 large and 2 medium Concordant Sequence pulse lasers stack?

Concordant doesn't stack afaik, only regeneration sequence for beams.. Dunno why you'd want to stack that one though, given how strong it is.. =]

phase sequency is what i use, hull damage through shields can be helpful

Concordant doesn't stack, but with effects like this it doesn't really need to. I've got a single Small Efficient Beam with Regeneration Sequence on my Gunship and as a few members of this forum can attest, it's enough to regen shields faster than they can be damaged. I can zap my F63 Condor to 100% shields in under a second, and recharge a Fer de Lance in under thirty.

Supposedly that's going to be changing. Not sure the details, but it's way OP and getting some kind of nerf.

I hope so! It's mad OP right now.

I was flying with a friend a few weeks ago, and whenever he got into trouble I'd zap him with my single tiny Beam Laser. That single tiny Beam Laser was enough to miraculously power the shields of an FDL against everything we threw ourselves against. Including an Anaconda backed up by two Pythons.

Watch this. Pretty funny, and right on target.

from what I've read, if you have thermal resistence in your shields, they will "resist" the healing effect of the beam in the next update.

Good. That's logical, and it should help curtail to proxy-tanking.

Right now I can, with a single Small laser, keep a Fer de Lance fighting in PVE almost indefinitely. That has to change.

Lets try it out sometime.

It does reduce the damage output, and not as "slightly" as they claim in a description. 10 less exactly - I got a very good roll so I decided to "buy" that effect on it, and checked in outfitting what is the damage after the effect. From 34 it was down to 24 - from almost maximum for the mod to less than a minimum (still a bit more than completely unmodded).

Fdevs should write exactly how much we lose. The same goes for "Inertial Impact": 3% jitter is definitely not a "slightly increased" - you can't hit anything with it! It's like firing at a chaff.

I rerolled my burst lasers several times before I realized that the special effect I was buying was eating damage...the description doesn't tell you it does.
