Where to find metallic meteorites / mesosiderite?

I've been driving around this planet with close to 3% cadmium on it for a couple hours now. I'm only finding outcrops, bronzite and "ticky" stuff like that, and so far I've gotten a ton of cool stuff like mercury and yttrium and zirconium. However I haven't seen a single metallic spawner. I've been driving around a huge crater, around mountains and a bit on one of the planes, and all I'm getting are various "ticky" signals. If you were in my shoes, what approach would you take to finding metals? I'm stocking up for a long range passenger mission and I've managed to get like 30 grade 1 and 10 grade 3 injections, but I would like to at least get materials for 20 grade 2s just in case.

I always go for craters, I tend to hop from one crater to another if I don't find in the first within 30 mins I recall ship SC up a few dozen Km, then come back down elsewhere, tends to work

Hit up Deciat 4. Shouldn't take you long to find a few here and there.
