Any tips on finding polymer capacitors?
Just wondering if anyone had advice on finding these materials? From what I've read seems that they are at conflict zones but can be in USS.

Just kill ships in cz, they drop them eventually, thats how i got some

Yep. CZ kills work.....I suggest getting a collection limpet controller and limpets first. Makes collecting a lot easier while you may be getting shot at.

Been spending a week on this. I have been to Outbreak systems, Anarchy systems. 2 days on each checking every signal found for twice 8 hours. Tried Combat zones, tried killing authority ships. ♥♥♥♥ you Frontier.

go into a CZ with a friend. DO NOT wing up or join a side in the conflict. Have your friend join a side and start killing ships. Stay close and scoop all the polymer capacitors you want.

caution - using limpets in a CZ is very hit-or-miss since other ships' PD might shoot them down.

Spend today 7 hours doing combat zones. Polymer capacitors drop = 0. None.
Combat zones tried : 29 before I gave up.

I brought a collector and limpets, and I have never used any of it
Because the stupid capacitors DO. NOT. DROP.

So : I cant get them from combat zones
I can't get them from signals (spent 3 days checking them in Anarchy/Outbreak)

engineering in this game is broken
So Im no longer trying until they fix their stupid game

it's possible that something got messed up in the last update. it's happened before. I had the same problem with cracked industrial firmware...others have had trouble with other things - have you posted to the bug section of the official forums?

Cracked industrial firmware are fixed. Found a bunch today in high grade emission USS. No idea about polymer capacitors though as I have already picked up enough in the past.
