Advanced discovery scanner not scanning everything (SOLVED)
As the title says, the adc is not scanning everything. And it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me off a little bit. It's leaving out a lot of the smaller planets orbiting the bigger ones. Anyone know why or how to fix it?

Not scanning as in, you need to get closer to do a level 2 scan?

Or not scanning as in, they don't show up as a discovered object when the larger object they orbit does?

It only identifies it's position. It doesn't actually scan them..You will have to target (T) them individually and fly within the required distance to "scan" them. The scanner just tells you where all the objects are in a system. Not what they are.

I know that, i have 200+ hours in the game. They don't show up so i can target them, or see them in the navigation tab.

Try resetting the filters on your nav tab?

Are you absolutely sure it's an Advanced scanner, not Intermediate?

The ones that are unchecked was "landfall planets and moons" and "settlements".

May explain the problem. Most of those smaller icey bodys around Gas Giants ARE landfall bodies, if you filtered those out you'll eliminate almost all moons and plutoids.

You're welcome. Thank you for being polite and for actually taking advice, it's nice dealing with somebody reasonable for a change.
