Gaining no rank with the Alliance

Hey,

I got a problem with my ranking. I've read in the frontier forums that you can gain alliance rank doing bountys in a res and turning them in in the "Interstellar Factors Contact". I am doing this to get access to Bill Turner.

So I've turned in 1,5 Mil in bountys due to the Interstellar Factors Contact but the rank stayed at 11 %.
I relogged a couple of times but it is still at 11%. Am I doing something wrong? Does it not work anymore with this method?

Or is something wrong with my account. I turned in 20 missions for the empire yesterday and the rank remains at 35% prince in the empire.

Any ideas?

is the system still under alliance control if its not you will get no alliance rep. i did mine in fedmich with the last CG it took like 600K worth of bounties to get to friendly.

In the forum I've read it doesn't matter where to hand in the bountys.
So I need to hand it in in alliance space for sure?

I don't know exactly what you mean by that but I'm reasonably certain you have to hand the bounties in to a system with a controlling alliance faction, after all you don't get rep for the fed turning in bounties in empire systems

yes but the Interstellar Factor contact depends to the alliance. And in the forum they said it doesn't matter....

any alliance controled station. the alliance symbol will be infront of the faction at the top of the list :)
when handing in vouchers or data, you hand them to the station controlers :)

Don't confuse rank with reputation. Alliance don't have ranks.
Not sure about IFC tbh. Are any of the bounties you are turning in, for Alliance factions, or for the Alliance as a whole?

yes i was wrong. I mean reputation not rank. I am going to fedmich now and doing it again handing it in for a alliance station....

Good idea. I got Alliance rep very quickly while doing the BH community goal there.

Hi guys.
I have same problem with empyre ranks .I am allied with empire already and my rank is NONE with them, i just need first rank to unlock one engineer. I did so many transport missions , combat missions POS killing and my rank remains NONE.

You need to do it only for factions which got the empire symbol near their name. Even when it's a empire system, there can be factions that are not regarding to the empire. You need this eagle empire logo near their faction name.

For the Alioth permit you need to be allied with the Alioth Independents minor faction. This means completing missions for them, turning in exploration data at stations under their control, etc. If you are bounty hunting, only ships that are wanted by Alioth Independents will count.

Thank for your help guys , still no luck at all :(. I am doing missions in empire for empire agent i dont know how many hours and my rank is none ,it is really frustrating

become allied with an empire faction and you will get an imperial navy progression mission when your rank progression bar reaches 100. only the rank progression missions will change your rank. the rest is to build the progression bar to get the next progression mission

I am allied with empyre did like 60 missions for empire agents from the same station and no rank progression at all.
