I know this is probably stupid of me to ask, but can I get some pointers on this EDDI plug in? It seems cool as all heck, I just want to make sure that I do not need voice attack in order for it to work?

Install it and see if it works. It's ostensibly VA free.

I don't have VA and I'm using EDDI 2 just fine.

Using it without VA, works awesome. See about getting some Ivona voice packs, provides some variation.

I use it with VA - ASTRA. Works amazingly well. I dig EDDI. Really helpful info.

I can see myself buying AMY from IVONA real soon - she has almost the exact same voice as ASTRA. £23. I think AMY is the voice that the VA creator used.

But I'm getting used to EDDI's voice (only uses a standard Windows voice :/)..the breadth (and depth) of info that is available from him is awesome.

Hats off to EDDI's creators - appreciate all the time, skill and effort it took to create him :)
