My vote is for CH one too - I have mine for years and it never failed me unlike multiple other ones.

First one works very well. Just not enough buttons for my taste. Which is why I upgraded to the second one. With the second one I never have to touch my keyboard.
You should be happy with either set up though I would think.
That's a cable fault. Could be in USB plug, the socket, or even in the throttle itself. If it's still under warranty I'd get in touch with CH and get it sent off for repair. If it's not under warranty, find someone who's handy with a soldering iron to replace the cable for you.
Give me a bit......let me see if I can hunt one down for you.
Ok I found this at newegg.Com
Assuming I pasted the link right....I am on the phone app.
I am also assuming you can order from newegg in Australia. Maybe no? I googled t.16000 throttle only to find it.
Hope this helps.
That's really unlikely, the thing works perfectly all the time, so the cable does what it's supposed to. Just a static discharge without even touching anything near the thing, let alone moving it, will irritate it.
