Conflict zone passenger mission

Have had 3 passengers now request that I take them to a conflict zone. I spent almost 30 minutes last night just trying to find "a" conflict zone. Then, when I get in there, nothing hits to say that I've completed what the passenger requested. He did not say "Take me there and attack something", he said simply take me there. Ok, so I took him to the only one I could find in the system the updated mission told me to.

1. Is there a way to find the actual conflict zone they want you to go to.

2. Is that all we're supposed to do or do we need to join sides inside the zone?

Need more info on this if anyone can help.

I could never figure that out either, and I visited a couple with one passenger

Maybe you have to visit them all?

In the end, I gave him the finger, took a happiness hit and collected da monies. I noticed if you ignore requests from demanding ones, they don't ask for another - just don't make them upset in other ways

Yeah that's what I'm doing now. Getting tired of wandering aimlessly looking for something that isn't worth the reward.

Yep, treat the passengers with appropriate sass and you'll be fine

When the passenger missions just were introduced, I had several of them wanting a side mission of visiting a CZ for several minutes. I usually stayed like 6-7km from the center, and when the time was up, the passengers were thanking me and asking me to continue on their journey. They did tell me which CZ they wanted to visit, though. And I haven't seen such requests for quite a while now. They probably were gone the same way where Exquisites went. Glad to hear that they reappear.

Looking up at the message window can help to progress things along. Either by confirming mission updates. Or sometimes you''ll have to click a tick tab to accept the change in the missions current objectives.. Certainly worth keeping an eye out for these if and when they appear.

Only time I had this happen I hit the right CZ immediately. Don't need to join sides, just stay and watch for a certain duration, as detailed in the update message (a new update message should pop after the timer runs down). Since CZs only show up within 1000 LS though, you may need to scout around the system a bit to find a CZ with the relevant Factions involved.

You only have to visit any zone in the system he/she says and be there for a little while, i think it even says how long

First you have to accept the side mission, then go to the zone. But mostly I ignore their request altogether. Not worth it for 20,000 cr.

I've completed plenty of these missions. Generally just need to stick around for a few minutes and the passenger is satisfied. There can be more than one war going on in a system, be sure you are going into the correct CZ. If it's not the correct faction the request won't be satisfied.

It will tell you an amount of time in the mail. thats actually how long you have to sit in one of them.
