YAY BASE BUILDING!
Also, you can find small pocket-sized monsters all over the galaxy you can train to fight.
They have talked about deployable bases, which at the very most would come into play when space legs are implemented, and even then, I struggle to think of a function to them beyond eye candy.
Just as long as it isn't some passive moneymaker, boring material generator, or something that adds EVE-like player owned businesses.
"Thargazoid, I choose you!" *throws hotas at screen*
*memories of Wii controller videos on YouTube*
I don't think mini player house type areas make any sense at all though, if thats what you mean.
*facepalm*
Big no on player owned corporations, unless it's extremely limited and temporary.
I like the design choice in making every CMDR a peer to another, and the background simulator to stay in the background. Player run corporations will damage all that.
