What's the best small or medium ship to kill an anaconda?

Let's say i wanted to troll anacondas with as cheap of a ship as possible, what ship would i use?

Depends on the pilot's skill more than anything, to be honest. Against lower ranked AI or really bad players, you could do it in a Viper, or even an Eagle/Imp Eagle. I'm not so hot at combat, I personally wouldn't attempt a fight in anything less than Vulture or Python.

Imperial Courier is a decent little fighter for the price, and it could outmanuvouer the Anaconda. I'd say that.

im currently using the iCourier and love it. 520 m/s with frags it is like 300 dps (idk if that is accurate or not) plus FSD dumbfires keeps a target in place.

The special weapon from Yuri Grom. Causes a longer FSD reboot time.

as for pilot skill, depends, some can in a eagle, some can't

If you had one or two other eagles in the wing it would be a different story. That would be quite doable. 3 eagles vs 1 anaconda is the nightmare of every anaconda pilot ;D

So you question the eagle because it only needs to be hit once but then say 3 eagles is fine.....well that is only 3 hits. Even poorly built Anacondas can shoot 3 times.

It probably has the best shields for its price, decent hardpoints, and you could fit enhanced thrusters on it. Speed and boost speed are very good too Not the most agile, comparable to FDL & FAS, but certainly not the brick that the Anaconda is. Biggest drawback is probably the pitiful Power Distribution, and that it requires ranking in Empire. Still a very good fighter, and cheap as chips.

dd3 on enhance thrusters the icourier and viper mk3 are more agile than fdl-fas on dd5 ...;)
