Fury3 as well plz
Wasn't Fury3 made by the same developers? Would make a nice bundle too. And not to forget Hellbender and the F!Zone addon for Fury3.

Fury3 and Hellbender are both published by Microsoft(so it's up to them). I'd LOVE to see those on steam.

Yes but they sold out to Microsoft I have Fury3 and Hellbender.

I was about to say

I was watching the new release video showcasing all the games, when I saw the unmistakable HUD and scenery of Fury3. First thought was "I had no idea 3D Realms was involved in that?" But not quite - instead it's called Terminal Velocity.

So.... what's the deal between the two games? Different developers, but there's no way they're not built on different engines

Ya might find this interesting http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminal_Reality same developers and same engines and to some degree same assets.

Fury3 was basically stolen from Terminal Velocity... it was quite common in the 80's, especially with mecha games... Including some extreme irony between BattleTech Vs. Macross (inspired by Transformers) Vs. Gundam Vs. BattleTech (again) -> trumped by MetalTech

Terminal Velocity was the first of them and was made for DOS. It also supports 3D in DOS with S3D Virge i think among other things, so it looked better than the Steam version.

I don't think there is any way to play it with 3D cards other than the 20 year old 3D Cards for DOS.

It wasn't stolen, since it was made by the same people. Fury3 was essentially a Windows 95 port of Terminal Velocity under a new name. Same gameplay, mostly the same levels and enemies. Slightly worse graphics since DirectX wasn't a thing yet.

Well, I didn't mean like Corporate Espionage or anything so stolen wasn't exactly the best word

I think the best comparison would probably be with System Shock to Bioshock, Total Annihilation to Supreme Commander, Demon's Souls to Dark Souls or Baldur's Gate to Pillars of Eternity - it's the same developers essentially making the same game but for a new publisher, whereas the Battletech vs Macross thing was an American studio using designs from an unrelated Japanese property without permission.

I played fury 3 demo in my childhood on the windows sampler cd. That is the reason I bought this game as it basically is running with the same engine. I would love to see fury 3 on steam. Even if the chance isn't that high.
People seem to get a lot wrong about Fury3.

Fury3 isn't the same levels as TV. There are new levels, the weapons were re-named, new art assets, and new models. The engine, however, is the same.

It also wasn't stolen, TRI (Terminal Reality Inc.) developed both games. Microsoft however was the publisher for Fury3.

Yes as said the engine and sounds were the same, perhaps some things recolored but it is very much another game doing more or less the same.

In any case Fury3 rocks and it doesn't have purple lasers like TV.

A remake in a modern engine would be so cool and wouldn't take all that much effort tbh.

Both games were fun and cool, a bit too much arcade pew-pew like but it's ok since I was a child ^^

BTW, this song was so epic it got stuck in my brain forever...

I think you will remember it

This is the man behind the 3 games soundtrack.

The other day we had a party with some synthwave-lover friends, and we played the song I just posted. They loved it while I had a strange feeling in my guts.

I mean, I use to play this as a backtrack to jam over it with my electric guitar-

Kyle,if any day you read this: THANKS. Your music is part of my childhood and many themes just give me chills. Also thanks to the people that make this awesome remakes!!
