A collection of pictures with the skins in the mod.
The mod makes Styx looks like a sea monster and I have skins for each outfit and weapons. It also changes the way the clone looks as you can see here:

The mod is mostly finished, but I wanted to make the Roaby queen look like a giant Kraken yet and I was thinking of making several more skins sometime. Let me know what you think.
I don't think I want to make Styx look like a human anymore since of the height limitations and such it would look weird. But do you think it's possible to make Styx look like a dwarf without a helmet?
Also I was wondering are you able to mod the enemies as well? I would like to commission you if you can change enemy skins :)
I don't want to accept commissions for making mods since there is legal issues with that. Technically there is even with this, but I think accepting money modding a game I don't own might be a step to far. However I could accept a commission for making a dwarf model from scratch and show you how to mod it in. I think in order to get a proper working Styx dwarf model one would have to make a new model anyway.
Another thing to note. I also found out how to change some of the sounds and music.

I did this. A skin and model swap mod that changes styx to look more aquatic. One for each outfit.
Thoben outfit:
Replaced by that pirate looking outfit.
Akenash outfit
Replaced by the Deepsea Angler outfit.
Cloak of Shadows
Replaced by the Slime Abberation skin.
The Alchemists outfit.
Replaced by the Swamp monster outfit.
Prison outfit.
Looks like the Pirate outfit but just more naked.
I also did 5 weapon reskins to go with the mod.
And how much will it cost to make Styx armor similar to the original Styx armor from the first part? He had shoulder pads and knives on his back
I'm not accepting commissions for something like this due to legal reasons, but I could teach you how to do it if you want. If you have the Akenash DLC, then you could modify the outfit to look similar to the first. It can be a bit tricky, but if you learn how to do it yourself then you could modify things at your own leisure with ease.
For the second question. Yes it should be possible, but this would require you to have some knowledge on how to setup rigs and weight paint them to the meshes, but the process for getting the model working once its ready should be the same.
Would you share this mods? They looks cool and there isn't much of them around, in fact, these are the only ones I can find since the game is a little obscure.
Sure thing! Ill add you and send it to you. I haven't posted it publicaly yet since I don't have a more streamlined way of installing it yet and its not quite finished(98% finished), but just few remaining issues to fix. Ill explain how to install it.
A bit tired now, but Ill post a tutorial on how to do model swaps in a bit. But yes this is very possible to do.
Install Unreal Engine Version 4.13. 4.13 is the unreal version this game uses.
https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/download
Part 2. Step 1. Download UE Viewer
https://www.gildor.org/en/projects/umodel
Part 2. Step 2. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Styx Shards of Darkness\Styx2\Content\Paks and put this into the umodel program and press okay.
Part 2 Step 3. Navigate to /Game/Game/Character/Goblin/Coop/Basic/Textures/T_Coop_Styx_Body_D.uasset
/Game/Game/Character/Goblin/Coop/Basic/Textures/T_Coop_Styx_Head_D.uasset
Hit Export on both of those textures and put them somewhere you will remember. I recommend creating an assets folder just to export this stuff.
Part 3. Step 1. Launch Unreal 4.13 and create a new project. Name it anything you want. I recommend selecting the third person template since Styx is a third person game, but Blank or first person will also do.
Part 3. Step 2. Under your Content folder within the Unreal Project create a new Folder named"Game" then recreate a series of folders /Game/Game/Character/Goblin/Styx/Textures/
This folder path leads you directly to the Styx textures used in normal solo play for Styx's core body textures.
Part 3. Step 3. Once you have created those folder paths in Unreal, add T_Coop_Styx_Body_D.uasset and T_Coop_Styx_Head_D.uasset to the textures folder at the end of the file chain. Then rename the one that says head to T_Styx_Head_D.uasset and the one that says body to T_Styx_Skin_D.uasset
Part 4. Step 1. Save your file and hit "Cook for Windows".
Part 4. Step 2. Find your cooked file in C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Unreal Projects\MyProject3\Content\Game
Will come back to this later. However its basically ready to be a mod. But first we need the patcher.
Part 5. Step 1. Download Unreal Mod Unlocker here:
https://illusory.dev/index.html
Part 5. Step 2. Open it up and place this link in the application C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Styx Shards of Darkness\Styx2\Binaries\Win64
Part 5. Step 3. Hit patch. This will allow your game to run loose files.
Part 6. Step 1. Copy the game folder under C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Unreal Projects\MyProject3\Content\Game
Then paste that under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Styx Shards of Darkness\Styx2\Content
Part 6. Step 2. Open the game. It should crash on the first startup. Thats normal.
If you followed these steps properly that coop texture should now be visible when playing the game solo. Feel free to add me as well if you want more clarification or need some help walking through each step.
EDIT: Nevermind. This method actually doesn't work. I haven't modded this game for a while and I forgot that in order to get materials to export properly you also have to export the model. Which I can do, but I don't know how to do this without breaking the cloth physics.
