Surely disney can strike a deal for a remaster
Because he worked on that game and the Full Throtle rights DID belong entirely to Lucas Arts.
And yes, Disney could strike a deal... they could strike a lot of deals... you see them doing it? Disney has mostly completely abandon the gaming world, they have being closing gaming subsidiaries over the past years, closing active service games like Marvel Heroes and Disney Inifity... It would seem most Diney games being done today are done by external companies and Disney gives them production rights and most of them are done because someone, like Tim Schaffer in the case of some of the Lucas arts games he worked on, really wants to do a certain project that will not cost them too much money.
The possibility of a Sam and Max remake or even a continuation of the IP it´s possible, yes, but highly unlikely. But let´s be real, the gain from doing a Sam and Max remake are probably a joke to the company that makes Star Wars and Marvel movies.
As i heared about a remaster, i was so happy and then this :-(
