One I can think of is if you have a lot of Non-steam games you like to stream your cutom artwork will show up on steam link but not the desktop version. The desktop version will be blank and sometimes a little confusing looking. Its small but it is nice to have them.
Valve should definitely be promoting this!
the moment large numbers of people start using this, the more weird things will happen? and then tell nobody about them??
for example, 100% of the time some of the time starting steam link and then connecting it to my steam deck will cause my steam deck to reboot, verify installation and it will then be happy to accommodate using the steam link software on it.
it was not like this initially, but it is weird that it does now.
i have kept this secret until now, you are the first to hear of this.
i think that for the moment it should be worked on until stability and ease of use improves.
unless the problem is on the steam deck. then i will have to admit that i am wrong.

The great thing about the Steam Link app on a Windows PC is that I can sleep the host pc when I'm done. This isn't possible when the full client is installed and using remote play. I really wish that ability was there.
My options are basically one or the other. So I can either leave steam on my mini pc in big picture mode all the time or in steam link app all the time.
I'm using an Xbox One Controller with PC adapter plugged in, but I could also see where folks would want BT working as well.
Is there a better way to suggest this feature/ability for remote play?
