What is Backbone One Sensor Fusion
It sounds like a dragonball z move and I'm for it but Google doesn't show any details about what this is. Can anyone elaborate?

It means that when you have a Backbone One controller attached to your phone, the gyro and accelerometer from your phone is fused with the controller so streaming games can use them together.

Is there a guide or post about how to use that it sounds like a great feature to extend functionality!

Does it work with any other controller like Razer Kishi?

In theory, yes. I've reached out to Razer to see if they want it enabled for their controllers and haven't heard back yet.

While we are in this topic - many devices, including the Backbone, don't include vibration, and while Steam allows to pass the vibration to the phone itself while using touch controls, it does not do the same while a controller is connected. Is there a way to add the vibration engines to Sensor Fusion? Also, is there a flag we can set to enable Sensor Fusion in a generic controller?

Any news yet on the topic of Sensor Fusion with the Razer Kishi (V2)?

It should work with the latest beta version of the Steam Link app, can you try it out?

Have you reached out to other manufacturers like Gamesir or Microsoft? This seems like a decent workaround for adding gyro functionality to controllers that don't have one.

Personally I have a Razer Kishi V1 - does it work with that model?

Does the backbone one controller and gyro sensor fusion show up as “one” controller or “two” separate controllers? (ex. Backbone One & Touch Controller?) because I can’t get gyro working unless I have touch controller enabled along side my backbone attached.

Also, my backbone one v2 shows up without the ability to add gyro configurations (in-game settings overlay). But I CAN recalibrate the backbone/phone gyro in the main controller settings menu.

Will the Backbone One Sensor Fusion truly be fused together as ONE controller? And if it isn’t working correctly, are there plans to fix this bug? Thanks!

Is there a list of compatible controllers?

I'm facing exactly the same issues, can't map gyro controls using the backbone one v2 in RE4 remake input settings for example but I can recalibrate in general steam controlers settings. In Portal 2, I can use gyro while using the backbone but it has to be always on and if I create a setting to only enable it while pressing a button then it doesn't work at all. Seems like the gyro is still linked to the touch controls of the phone and it's not possible to use both buttons from touch controls AND butttons from the backbone (if pressing on the backbone buttons, the touch controls get disabled).

It's annoying because gyro aiming while holding L2 is my preferred way to play and using the backbone on the go this way would be amazing, I hope a steam link update could fix this

Same exact problem on my end, i have a backbone one, i can calibrate the gyro from the steam controller settings but I can't use it in games.

Has anyone had any luck getting it to work yet?
