Steam Controller

Steam Controller

What's the best way to get a second-hand Steam Controller in Poland?
Other than Allegro.

Steam Controller prepping for production [Rumor]

I really want a Steam Controller myself, but from the shopping I've done, the average used controller in good working order is more expensive now then they were brand new when Steam was selling them. I'm hearing rumors about a new Steam Controller coming soon, but I don't know if it's for sure yet. I'm holding out and hopefully it comes true.

Tbh, Idk! But I will say, it may be worth it to get a few that are incomplete or with the shoulder buttons broken/non-functional. The shoulder buttons are super easy to fix. You can frankenstein the parts of one if you are missing parts of another. The last SC I got was missing the back-plate cover. It was my third, so it didn't matter; I already had 2 others from other controllers. Idk if it came with the dongle either, but I had a few of those also.

That's a bit of work, but I have to agree that would probably be the cheapest way to get a Steam stick. Get a few that mostly work and cobble them together. It's just that takes a bit of know-how and more effort. Also, it seems like Steam is supporting the old stick less and less. I'm going to wait and hope I can order a new Steam stick 2.0 right from Steam before to long. fingers crossed

I know, but I don't want to wait. And I'm fine with repairing electronics.

Well, then He has the right idea. I'm not sure about how shipping to Poland works, but buying enough 'broken' Steam sticks to make at least 1 working stick would almost surely be the cheapest way, if you don't mind the extra work.
I know a few guys that buy broken Steam sticks and whole consoles that 'don't work' by the pallet load for dirt cheap. Then what ever hardware the get to work, they sell as refurbished, mostly on Ebay. I don't know why, but most of the working used Steam sticks sell for more than they did brand new.

I've fixed a few joysticks and I built this computer myself 5 years ago, now. It's actually time to upgrade and I'm just to a point where I'm thinking about buying a custom gaming computer instead of building it myself this time. I've just gotten lazy.
I'd rather have a Steam stick, but I've got 2 PS5 sticks, and an Xbox stick. I'm just going to wait and hope Steam releases a Steam stick 2.0 before too long.

best of luck
