Gears of War Ultimate Edition help

Can anyone help me get the SC working for Gears? I've tried the desktop mode config for 360 controller and Gears just ignores it :/ Any help would be would be appreciated! :)

This might be not the most convenient way to do, but it's working very well for me. Just take a base WASD SC profile and set it as your desktop profile in Big Picture mode. Minimize BP mode, start the GoW Game, ALT Tab to Steam BP and tweak the desktop profile for your liking. It helps to make a photo first of the In-Game keyboard settings and then make the button layout in your SC profile. Add Gyro and fine tune afterwards. It needs some time and tweaking. If you start another Windows Store Game, you have to change the Desktop SC profile for that Game. My GoW setup is running smooth and i can play online without being last always ;)
