Thanks, but it didn't work. I tried to install latest firmware, even the one before last, no succeed. I think I totally messed up my controller profiles, so they got very weird settings. At least I want to believe this, because if not, it means that after a year this controller can be as same crap as any other $5 controller.... :( And I'm not a big gamer, so in a total sum, I didn't use my controller every day, or other day. I'd say, average, below-average usage.
Another weird behavior as I noticed when I start pushing left trigger the "phantom" left joy input somehow resetting, and goes back to default position. Then if I don't touch anything, after a few second, it starts again produce this "phantom" right movement. So IMO, problem is that physically got wear-out, or seems if it would left joystick got a very sensitive settings... But weird if why starting to get right position always...
Can you point me a direction how could I reset my settings? I mean all the saved controller profiles, both locally and steam cloud.
Is there anybody who getting this strange behavior?
Help!
if that doesn't fix the issue, it's probably getting worn out. as far as configuring the controller to compensate, try to increase output anti-deadzone buffer in joystick move.
I DID calibrate AND firmware change/check. No either one helped.
Any other solution? Help? Or confirmation that there are more peeps who got worn-out their controller within one year. :(
Thanks the suggestion Mate, however, the most weird thing is, that it's not drifting. Constantly do a right movement input on left analog stick. Weird... I didn't try the "trimmering" thing yet. (that deadones settings)
i think we all thought you were referring to a drifting problem, but you're saying it's like it's being fully pressed to the right? try turning off the controller and logging out of windows and restarting again.
Thanks Mate, however this "log out, restart this and that, even restart windows" thing is poor explanation and help. No offense, but restarting steam or windows for no reason is not a help. If you suggest I have to change something, set an option somwehere THEN restart, it's ok.
I all tried what you suggested so far, before you've suggested it. Event that I'm glad you try to help me, just waiting for a good one... ;)
That thing to screwed up the controller steam config/profile/etc is not worth to investigate? Anybody knows where are these files? I'm getting sure that it's software related things... because when start BPM in steam, then turn on controller, nothing happens for a moment, but when steam notifies at right-bottom that "configuration to x user has been loaded" (or something like that) on that moment my controller goes crazy and get happaning that behavior as described. Yes, left stick constantly does right momvement. Also if I pull left trigger, (when I "stop" thing right movement and reset to center) left joy starts to produce right movement again. ???? To sum up: after few second auto right false input on left joy. And if pulling left trigger, left joy does same again as I pulling the trigger...
So this is a controller config... but where?!?!? It is a file, registry, steam-cloud-config, anything??
Any suggestion how could I reset my settings? (I mean reset to factory-default)
I once had a similar problem with a joystick camera constantly moving to the left. The problem was fixed after logging out and restarting steam. So THAT was the reason I suggested it. But since my explanations and suggestions are of no help, I wish you luck. No need to waste my time here.
There's lots of things you can try.
Thanks Mate, nice thoughts, but tried all of these you've mentioned. :( No succeed... Now, I'm trying delete my configs both locally and in steam cloud...
Already done Mate. Nothing helps... :( As far as I read everyhing I relized that it is a hardware worn-out, or malfunction problem. I don't know how, it's true that in the last 4-5 days I massively used my SC with Watch Dogs 2. It's sad that over a year it's a wreck. :(
I'm afraid I have to order another one. I contacted Steam and the distributor shope I had ordered this SC, let see they would help, refund or replace the controller. If not, I'll buy another one because one thing is cirtain: it's the best controller ever. Maybe this one was 1 of 1000 with this malfunction.
Thanks all the idea. I've tried everything. In meantime if I got any solution, or get the new one and can able to try it's working, I'll be back here and share my experience and/or my solution.
I hope you guys never meet this torture...
