Is there any way to set this game to run in windowed mode? If not, is there any hope of windowed mode support being added in the near future?
is basically how mine looks.
Sorry for the inconvenience, guys.
Not that that answers your question; sorry.
So how is it going, guys? Was two and half years enough?
Overall game feels like a port of a mobile game to PC, interface is obviously touch-oriented.
And I feel cheated.
cant play fullscreen
WinFullScreen=0
WinWidth=1280
WinHeight=720
You can also try enabling window resizing in the app.icf, but that didn't work for me. (the buttons move, but the place you have to click to activate them stays in the same spot)
If that doesn't work, try using DXWnd. It'll force the game into a window size of your choosing, but it's a little hacky. I haven't found a way to fix it causing the text on the Info, Manual, and Myth screens to bug out, but everything else works fine with some of fiddling.
You have to turn off Remap Client Rect in Libs, and then from there it's just messing with the window style/size/position and the screen Initial resolution until you get it right. Lock win style is important if you want it to be draggable, otherwise you end up with a borderless mode. You'll want to change the WinWidth and WinHeight settings in the app.icf to match your Initial Resolution in the Video tab of DXWnd. (or a bit bigger to compensate for the window borders)
I'm also using the GOG version, so I'm not sure how well all of this will apply. I ended up giving up and switching to the old version of the game, which I'm not sure is an option for Steam.
Apparently you can also resize your screen to the game resolution you want before starting the game, and then change it back once it's launched... But I haven't done that out of not wanting to reorganize my desktop.
I was hyped for the game but it's not the kind of game I want to play in fullscreen.
