People really need to stop harking on about that. It has nothing to do with the games lack of availability in Japan. There is no Japanese language interface because Bandai Namco refuse to release on the PC. Not just this game, but ALL games (with the exception of MMOs).

But even if they did release in Japan, the Japanese interface would likely not be available to customers outside of Japan (and for that matter, English language options wouldn't be available in Japan). As again, Japanese publishers fail to understand that geographical locations do not automatically dictate what language their customers actually want to play in.

Because the game is not availiable for purchase in Japan I think. Like most JRPG on steam (yes it's weird but it's probably involving licencing issues)
