New to "tales series" - Best version of Tales of Phantasia ?
I will like to play previous games before playing this one.
That is the best version of tales of phantasia (in english ?

i think the 3DS has the best version....but it was never brought over to the states

or was it the psp..i can't remember

The GBA version is the only version that's in English and it's probably the worst.

You're better off with the PS1 or PSP version - I think the PS1 version has a translation patch, and the PSP version is region free.

Narikiri Dungeon X (both it and Phantasia X) are also being translated by Absolute Zero. No clue when it'll be done though. IMO Phantasia X is the definitive version solely because there's no pausing during spells and certain artes, like Cless' Lightning move.

Likely real-life stuff and/or burn-out. They're also translating Destiny DC at the same time.

I agree with others that the PSP version is the best.

They're all worth playing, though. Not so much the Game Boy Advance version, though, since it's the worst port.

just like with vesperia. They tranlated it for 4-5 years and finished recently.

There is no 3ds version of phantasia. The best version is PSP but it's in Japanese only (and it's the only version with voice acting)

The second best version is the PSX port that got a (really good) fan translation by Absolute Zero. He even added subs to the skits !!
Then if you don't want to play the psx version, the fan translated SNES version is good too (Dejap Translation)
Don't bother with GBA version it's the worst version EVER.
