Download it here instead. At the Misc Tools, Special K Install Manager (SKIM) section
wiki.special-k.info/en/SpecialK/Tools
But never mind, I copied the exact link here. You can just click this and it will download for you.
https://github.com/Kaldaien/SpecialK/releases/download/sk_0_8_50/SKIM64.exe
I click on the skim exe to set it up and install is entirely greyed out even though it allows me to select "tales of zestiria fix"
For highrefresh rate monitors with gsync, and probably for everybody else:
Download https://github.com/Kaldaien/TZF/releases/tag/tzf_183
Unpack into the folder with Tales of Zestiria.exe
Run the game once and exit from the menu
Copy the contents of default_tzfix.ini into tzfix.ini (first delete the contents of tzfix.ini then insert into it the contents of default_tzfix.ini), save.
Do the same with default_d3d9.ini and d3d9.ini.
Install and run RivaTuner Statistics Server
In Nvidia Control Panel (or equivalent) set the monitor's refresh rate to 30,60,120 etc.
In Nvidia Control Panel's Manage 3D Settings make sure to set Vertical Sync to Use the 3D application setting
Run TZT.exe as Administrator and set refresh rate to your monitor, Fullscreen and VSYNC ON, Framerate in Cutscenes to 30, Yield Processor ON, Fixed Tick for both fields.
Run the game As Administrator
Approve suggested changes when a window pops up
Ctrl+Shift+Backspace to enter SpecialK settings in-game, Ctrl+Shift+O to display OSD
Runs smooth. I'm very happy.
1. SKIM64 can't install tales of zestiria fix, it just said game not found
2. Extract everything to the folder, run TZT.exe (I had to search a different release in 2016 to use it), run it, had some small error but I see the screen to select refresh rate etc, click save, didn't work.
