Works on Windows XP? {Answered}

I definitely want this but Win XP (SP3) x86 isn't listed in the sys reqs area. Does anyone have it or can confirm it works?

Don't know if this will help but I have windows 8 and I switched to compatibility for xp sp3 and it works, however it did not work on my windows 8 so I had to switch to that anyway ...

My guess would be that the game is untested with Windows XP, because it makes no sense to test for a dead OS. But if the game is based upon the Taito Type X arcade game, then it actually was made for XP in the first place.

Its not dead on China but the cost to QA and support it in almost all cases its not worth the extra cost.

Hope for Moon that petran79 test and its work, more people playing ggac is a good thing

Dead as in no more support from MS. Are you saying MS still supports the Chinese XP?

Well you explained better now. Yes, MS doesnt give official support anymore but it doesnt stop devs wanting to make the game work on this OS, I talked about China because even with this situation they still use it, and thats a big problem for Microsoft.

I've always heard that China was fairly low on the list when it comes to software support, due to the rampant piracy. Not sure if that's true, but I wouldn't be surprised.
