What's a good (cheap) fightstick?

I've been using an Xbox 360 controller for a while and wanted to know what a good fightstick is on a budget. I'm also willing to build my own.

Maybe try a Mayflash F500. It costs $70 and as far as I know is the best fightstick you can get for a relatively cheap price. Obviously the buttons aren't the best quality and the stick itself is kinda cheaply made, but it works. I used to use one and it worked great for me. I do remember the stick being a little to sensitive, like if you input a down+down or 22 motion, the stick would bounce back to up and get you a super jump.

Thankfully it's very moddable. It works on everything too. PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Android. If $70 is too much, you might wanna try the Mayflash F300. Not sure what the differences are compared to the newer F500, but I think it's cheaper.

I personally find most of the sticks under the 120ish US dollar range too small and they don't sit on your lap well. You may just want to just save up for one around the price (hori kai 4/V work great), throw some Sanwa buttons on it if you don't find the buttons "pop" enough and forego the headache of buying a broken baby stick.

if you want to go under that the above recommended works, but the buttons are going to likely suck. A good 6 piece set of buttons is only like 18 dollars and can make any arcade stick feel a lot better.

The Hori sticks are a good choice.

Been using my Qanba drone for the last 3 years and got it for about $60-$70. Only mod I did was switch out the stick and gate, but that's up to personal preference.

What's the secret to getting controllers to work in-game? I have both a 360 and Hori controller and neither work.
