Rather unfortunate that the game is so slow paced at the begining. Before long you will usually be able to reset several times a day
Since you don't need to worry about earning back enough angels and not overspending them etc. you can just decide if you are earning them fast enough or want to double it now. And always take into consideration if you have enough time left to build everything up again to where it is now before making longer breaks like sleep, school, work, ... .
On the moon this is very different. It's almost impossible to wait so much, and I usually reset when I have x1/2 or x1/3 (as u can imagine, it's veeeery slow).
When the upgrade is about 1% of your total angels. The 10% discount isn't particularly useful and the change in income display is only really good once you can afford all the managers and start making a direct comparison.
Though maybe you should wait for a second opinion considering how I've already stuck my foot in my mouth. :P
If you're in a long stretch where you won't unlock a multiplier for a while, doubling your angels will probably work fine, though.
When you have 1000 of each company, there will be a point where you can double your investors every 5 minutes (because of some nice angel-upgrades ;))...
I restarted maybe 15 times on one day and hit 2000 of each company on the next day ;)
Currently I'm at 26.566 sexvigintillion angels and restart at least twice a day..
When you look at the dates the achievments unlocked, I think it's pretty fast - considering lots of people need way more time ingame than I have...
Pretty imported either is to close the game when you can't do anything, because the money per second isn't calculated correctly when it's open..
Or you just closed the game and let it idle money for days. This game isn't that hard to do well in.
That's nothing I wanted to claim, just meant that a lot of people have hundreds of hours ingame and didn't reach the point I have...
But with this I didn't want to say I'm sooo good in this game (just that a lot of people maybe don't understand how this works :P)
I would barely call an Idling-game a game at all, because most of the time you don't do anything..
So you're absolutly correct that you could just close the game for days and do nothing..
And that's indeed what I'm doing the last couple of days, because it becomes so f*** slow that it's a little boring.. (not to mention progress on the moon... ZzzZzzz)
