When is a good time to claim angel investors?
When you double your current ones? I have about 200 angels and can claim 200 more with a reset. This is my third reset. Should I go ahead and do it or wait till I can triple or quadruple them?

Doubling is a good rule of thumb, but if I remember correctly most people recommend 500 for your first reset. So considering you have some angels maybe 600 might be a good goal.

Rather unfortunate that the game is so slow paced at the begining. Before long you will usually be able to reset several times a day

500 is definitely too much for the first reset.

Since you don't need to worry about earning back enough angels and not overspending them etc. you can just decide if you are earning them fast enough or want to double it now. And always take into consideration if you have enough time left to build everything up again to where it is now before making longer breaks like sleep, school, work, ... .
Sorry I looked it up. I slipped on an extra 0. The first is usually 50, so you're good. I'm just being stupid.

And 50 is way too few, in my opinion, only halfing the time of the first run. I personally was quite happy with ~150.

Another question: When is a good time to start buying the angel managers? 100 Angel investors for a Bank discount sounds a bit steep at the moment.
The first reset must be when u have 20-50 angel investors. From that point, u should wait as much as u can. I waited till i had x20 (it seems a lot but believe me, u will get the objectives very much soon), but I think u should wait at least to have x10. Each time u reset the game, u need time to get the upgrades and unlocks u had before doing it, and this time is a "free time", u are losing lots of angels that u could win if u havent reseted, till u get the same unlocks and upgrades.

On the moon this is very different. It's almost impossible to wait so much, and I usually reset when I have x1/2 or x1/3 (as u can imagine, it's veeeery slow).

When the upgrade is about 1% of your total angels. The 10% discount isn't particularly useful and the change in income display is only really good once you can afford all the managers and start making a direct comparison.

my first reset was 400 something
You should buy an angel upgrade any time it will increase your profit rate really. If an angel purchase is low enough the game won't even ask you to confirm it, and those are always worth it as far as I've seen. But many of the ones where the warning pops up are good too. Like there are some that multiply profits. So if you use half of your angels for a x10 multiplier you still increased your profits by x5.

Though maybe you should wait for a second opinion considering how I've already stuck my foot in my mouth. :P
I would say when you double your angel account and then a little extra over to cover the costs of buying angel investor upgrades to help you get back up to that point
It depends pretty heavily on how quickly you're gaining investors, and the price of the next multiplier upgrade. If the next multiplier will burn through 4/5th of your angels for a 5x multiplier, you're better off letting them build up for a little bit. Similarly, if you've just hit a big multiplier and are earning angels like crazy, you may want to take advange of that for a bit.

If you're in a long stretch where you won't unlock a multiplier for a while, doubling your angels will probably work fine, though.
I restarted my first time at 200. Got back to where I was pre reset in ~2-3 hours afterwards.
I restarted the first time at 50. After that approx. when I will double them..
When you have 1000 of each company, there will be a point where you can double your investors every 5 minutes (because of some nice angel-upgrades ;))...
I restarted maybe 15 times on one day and hit 2000 of each company on the next day ;)

Currently I'm at 26.566 sexvigintillion angels and restart at least twice a day..
When you look at the dates the achievments unlocked, I think it's pretty fast - considering lots of people need way more time ingame than I have...

Pretty imported either is to close the game when you can't do anything, because the money per second isn't calculated correctly when it's open..

Or you just closed the game and let it idle money for days. This game isn't that hard to do well in.

That's nothing I wanted to claim, just meant that a lot of people have hundreds of hours ingame and didn't reach the point I have...
But with this I didn't want to say I'm sooo good in this game (just that a lot of people maybe don't understand how this works :P)
I would barely call an Idling-game a game at all, because most of the time you don't do anything..

So you're absolutly correct that you could just close the game for days and do nothing..
And that's indeed what I'm doing the last couple of days, because it becomes so f*** slow that it's a little boring.. (not to mention progress on the moon... ZzzZzzz)
