change size of startup screen!
im on a business laptop with 1366x768, and i cannot hit an OK button on the startup screen because it falls off the bottom of my screen and i can't hit it. i even hid the toolbar panel, and still can't see the bottom of the dialog. if you just make that image smaller, it would probably be fine. using ubuntu mate 15.04. thanks.

You should be able to hit the Enter button to progress.

maybe change the screen resolution bigger on Ubuntu and when you hit play on steam, the first screen that pop up you change the game screen resolution using the pulldown to lower then press play button. It can be changed to as low as 720 x 480. it is a window you should be able to move it around using the mouse.

Wait, what do you mean on the startup screen? There's the opening "how do you want to play this game" window, wherein you choose (among other things) your resolution and whether to be full-screen, and that's a very small window. From that, you can use the dropdown to reduce the size of the play area before you start. With a resolution of 1366x768, you shouldn't be having resolution problems; just set the resolution to something that works on your screen.

i was able to get in the game, but i was guessing at a tab-enter combo. eventually i did manage to hit the enter button. but on the initial screen to change resolution, i can't see past the first two dropdowns for resolution and graphics quality...everything below that is below the screen.

That settings window is like 300px tall. I think you're going to need to share some screenshots, what you're describing doesn't make any sense.

Not on linux it's not. The image on the settings dialogue is >1000px tall, and although on windows it just shows the upper left corner of the image, on linux it puts the whole thing in there, resulting in like a 1200px tall dialogue.

I think deleting or replacing the image in the game's data files will make the dialogue much smaller.

Yes, on linux the graphic is very large. that makes the dialog large. i might try going info the game files and see if i can find the image and make it smaller. this forum on steam wont let me upload an image though.

i rmoved the screenselector.png image from the data files and the dialog is now visible from top to bottom..without the image in it.
