To finish the game you need to beat the island, scorched earth, aberration, Extinction, Genesis 1 and Genesis 2.

Starting with the Island you basically need to build up your base and get BRED (not tamed) baryonix, Thylacoleo, Basilosaurus, Therizinosaurus and Rexes.

When you got that: clear all 10 caves to get all 10 artefacts. you'll use Baryonix, basilosaurus, theri and Thyla for those.

Once you got all 10 artefacts, you kill the 3 bosses. You use an army of bred rexes for first 2 and army of bred theri's for 3rd one.

Once you did THAT. you go in volcano crater and clear the tek cave + final boss. Use a theri army for that.

Enjoy cutscene move on to next map.

This is ONLY the ISLAND, you got 5 more maps to beat each has their own requirements to beat it.

Story progression starts on The Island map, then goes to Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, and finally Genesis 1 and 2. Your ultimate goal is to get powerful enough to defeat the map boss, thus 'completing' the map, and then move on to the next.

On The Island, there are three sub bosses and one ultimate boss. Explore the map to find caves - in those caves you will find artifacts that you can bring out to an obelisk (the giant floating towers). Those towers will allow you to teleport to the sub boss arenas. Get items from those sub bosses, then go to the volcano in the centre of the map to face the final boss.

Next three maps play similarly. SE and Abs only have one boss each, but you'll still need to collect artifacts to access them. Extinction has three subs and one main again, but in those cases you won't bring the artifacts out of the cave, as the teleporter to face the bosses is there in the cave with the artifact. Then go to the north high on a ledge to face the final boss.

The Genesis maps are a little different - they have mission terminals all over which give you missions to complete. You have to finish those missions in order to gain access to the boss rather than collecting artifacts.

A side quest involves collecting all of the explorer notes on each map - diaries left behind from other explorers who came before you, which tell the story of what the Arks are and how you got there. If you can find them all you can get bonus levels and level up higher than your usual level limit, so it's worth trying to get them if possible. Also these notes give you an xp buff, so if you collect them just before doing some level grinding you'll level up faster.

Speaking of grinding, there are a number of ways. Crafting is a good one early on, building lots and lots of items over and over. Killing alpha creatures is another, although those are very dangerous and difficult to beat. I'll leave it to other topics to go into specifics about what strategies to use and what nets you the most xp quickest, but almost every action in the game will give you xp, and at the vanilla rates you'll level up so quickly that you might find yourself at endgame before you know it, skipping early-midgame completely, so it shouldn't be too hard.

One thing to remember about Ark is that you as a player are weak. Dinos are your strength...they can fight better than you can, gather materials better, and have all kinds of special abilities that will make your life a lot easier. So tame many, and use them a lot. Everyone has their own personal preferences depending on their gameplay style, so try lots of different ones and see which you prefer. The official wiki has info on all of them, including their capabilities, gathering and harvesting skills, and more:

https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Creatures

One more important thing you may need to be aware of is breeding dinos. You can find powerful creatures out in the wild, but if you breed them together you can get all the best stats into one baby, which will be stronger than both the parents. And then if you keep breeding them, you can get mutations which will add even more stats on and make them extremely powerful indeed. Breeding mutations like this is strongly recommended for taking on the bosses, as your army of dinos will survive a lot better and deal more damage if they are mutated. The actual process is very long and complex, so again I won't go into detail here, but you should be able to find plenty of info on it online, including Youtube guides and such.

Hope that helps^^

The game is balanced for multiplayer, so a single player cannot learn every engram and crafting recipe. In a tribe, you would specialise - one player would learn saddles, another weapons, another armour, etc. But in solo play you can't do that.

Consider carefully what to unlock, and only learn the engrams you really need. For example, don't unlock every single creature saddle right away - wait until you tame one of those creatures, then you know you will need the saddle and can learn it at that point. It may be that you don't end up using the creature at all, and so never need to learn it's saddle.

Also check loot drops often, as they will have blueprints in them which allow you to craft the items without learning their recipes. There's also a food item you can craft to wipe all your engrams and allow you to relearn things in a different manner - if you find you have used too many engram points early on and have a lot of recipes which you do not need, use one of these to wipe those recipes so you only learn the ones you specifically require.

If you're still struggling even after all this, you can adjust the game's configuration files to give you more engram points per level, which will allow you to learn everything. Or you could even set the game to automatically unlock all crafting recipes the moment you level up, taking away the need for engram points completely.

For materials, tame the dinos which gather them. On The Island, mammoths or beavers gather lots of wood, and reduce the carry weight of wood in their inventories. So tame those and use them to harvest trees, you'll get far more than you could gather yourself. Doedicurus can break rocks and gather stone, so tame one of those for that resource. And ankylo will gather metal, crystal and a number of other resources too. For silica pearls, tame an angler fish. And if there are any other resources you are really short of, check the wiki linked above, that will tell you which creatures are especially good at gathering that resouce.

Thanks, but i saw a dude soloing it lol, also i dont have seats for any of those dinos (level 25 but 26 soon) Also i use some mods, and i can play with other person, and im gonna do it but i wanna do it solo first.

It is possible to complete the game entirely solo, yes. Most of the crafting recipes you will not need to unlock...just pick and choose carefully which ones to go for.

And even if you don't yet have a saddle for a gathering creature, it can still be worth taming them. Most of them will harvest their resource just by standing beside them and putting them on wander mode. So for example, if you tame an ankylo and have it follow you close to a metal node, then set it to wander, it will probably harvest the metal even without you being sat on it. Same with doeds for stone, beavers for wood, etc. Then you can just take the resource from their inventory.

Also, those creatures have a weight reduction for the resource while they carry it. So even if you harvest the material yourself, you could put it into the inventory of the creature and it's weight will go down, meaning the creature can carry much more than you could. Having one follow you as you harvest would allow you to bring back a lot more than what you would be able to if you tried to carry it in your own inventory.

Do a note run. You can get to level 70 in like 5 minutes or so. Craft cooking pots while you still have 4x note from the note run. Once you get scuba and ghillie tame a Megatherium (doesn't have to be a very high level) and you can run swamp cave on the Island.

Here's a video of a note run: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9k5AVjX0Qw
The music is annoying, but you can just mute it.
