Can a T-rex fit through the Dinosaur Gateway?

My wife and I have been slowly expanding our dino pen the more we obtain more pets over time. Most the pen is only 1 wall high, but we do have a dinosaur gateway to let them in. Today we were fortunate enough tame a T-rex and when we went to put it in our (now very cramped) pen, it just walked over the wall and got in. It looks like it could possibly fit in, but I'm not sure, it looks like it might be too tall.

Before we go all out and make a giant 3 wall tall wood fence, I was wondering if the T-rex can actually fit through the gateway?

I've looked for the answer, but found nothing. Thanks for any help.

The Dino gate takes everything except the Stego, Trex and Bronto. Those 3 needs the large gate.

Triceratops and everything below fits through a dinogate, i was concerned about my Trike but it worked.

Playing on those servres were u own choice, dela with it. I never play PVP in games like this, lesson has been learned.

Okay, I just saw it now, a Behemoth Gateway is available at lvl 55 it seems. I think we may just build it into the pen to protect it (only level 5 now) and then build a Behemoth Gateway to let it out later. Do you happen to know how many consecutive flat gateway pieces it takes to place the Behemoth Gateway?

My wife and I rent a server that we play on together with a few friends, it's a very different experience from what a lot of people have, but we really enjoy it, and it's cheaper than an MMO sub for 2 people.

That is not a dinosaur gateway, as both of them have a beam at the top, so it should be a behemoth one and all can fir through that.

i can confirm IT FITS!!! well at least it passed through my gate, following me. but thanks to its glitching habits might be just a "glitch". nonetheless when i moved it in an perpendicular angle to the gate it looked quite perfect that it could pass. while the trex worked for me, the big and fat crocodile wont..... just too wide at its hips

A stego fits in just fine too.

A rex will fit through a standard dino gateway - me and my friend built a mobile raft base with a pen on it to store our tames, and that had a gateway on it which a pet rex got through without issue. Bronto, sarco and others need the behemoth gate, but not a rex.

FYI, this post is a year old, from back before the wiki had info on what would and would not fit through the various gateways.
