Explorer Notes q&a

I have all of the explorer notes (including tek cave) on island except for the genesis ones yet I haven got the achievement. Do I need all the notes from all of the story maps or just the island? Also do I need anything besides all runes, all notes and maxed chibi to get thor hammer?

I believe the Genesis notes count towards the total, so you would need those. But no, you don't need notes from other maps, just The Island. And to gain maximum levels, you also have to ascend your character by beating the bosses on each map in turn: The Island, Scorched, Aberration, Extinction, and finally both Genesis maps.

Definitely need the Genesis ones. Also, I believe the boss ones as well, which was an issue since they don't always give you the note.

To be clear, the Genesis ones that are found on the other maps, not the ones on Genesis itself.

For the achievement.

For the hammer, you need to unlock the achievement, plus beat a bunch of bosses to get ascensions. You pretty much need all the DLC's, OR a good mod.

I am going to attempt it with Island CIE (which is a great Sir Caveman mod) because I never bought Genesis.
