How do you make it go away? With great difficulty I'm afraid, they're extremely tough and dangerous. If you have access to the netgun that can knock it down for a while, although if you're playing the maps in order that may not be available to you yet.
Alternatively if you have a megatherium, they are very strong against bugs of all kinds, and if you kill some smaller bugs first to get it's rage buff up you may be able to take the rhynio down. Would depend on the rhynio's level though, plus the level and saddle of your megatherium.
But taming them is a very late game thing. You don't tame them normally. You have to kill a male rhynia to get a scent gland and then apply it to one of your own tames. A female rhynia will implant a baby bug in your dino. It grows inside your tamed dino, then bursts out (killing the tame). It takes a very large tame to be able to give birth to one successfully. A rex is about the smallest you'd want to use, following by gigas/carchas, and finally the best is the bronto. The baby bug will inherit a portion of the stats of it's host. So the higher the stats on the host, the better the stats on the baby bug. Highly recommended to use a mutated host, with many mutations stacked on the attributes.
If you can't kill it or knock it out of the air with a netgun, another alternative is just to lead it away. Let it see you, and then try to outrun it (on the back of a tame). You'll probably get caught and killed (and the tame too), but if it's far enough away it may just stay in the new location.
try get its attention and kite it away from ya base if u cant kill it
