So, funny story about Admin Command 'destroyallenemies'
So as a test with Alpha dinos I was playing on my private server and decided to build a metal pen and spawn an Alpha Rex in it. Built the pen, spawned the Rex. The pen holds, but the Alpha Rex can apparently move halfway through the single layer walls and attack. Ok, test complete. I didn't want to spend the 10-15 minutes to kill the Alpha with my bow, so I decided to use the admin command 'destroyallenemies' thinking it would be faster. Sure, it would kill all of the other enemy dinos on the island, but they would respawn fairly quickly.

Meanwhile at my base I have 3 Pteros, 3 Mammoths, a Spino, a Rex, a small herd of Dodos (for fertilizer), 3 Trikes, 3 Paras, 2 Scorpions, a Raptor, 4 Argents and a pack of Dilos all sitting nice and safe in my mega base made of stone and metal. I enter the destroy command to kill the Alpha and all enemy dinos and am proud of myself for a job well done.

I make my way back to base.......and all my dinos are gone, base deserted except for the unconscious bodies of my tribemates. I thought maybe they had glitched out and a reload would do it. Nope, no such luck.

So, as a note to anyone who is curious, apparently the 'destroyallenemies' command applies to your friendly tamed dinos as well and should probably be renamed 'destroyalldinos'.

Yes, Destroy all enemies will kill all non player actors in the world including your tamed dinos.

If you look in your game save folder, there will be a file name TheIsland.ark

This is your main world save.

You will also see several files named TheIsland_#_#_#_#_#_#.ark.

These are the auto save files, you can use them to roll back by renaming the appropriately time stamped one to TheIsland.ark

Doing this you should be able to recover some of the stuff you lost.

Useful info, thank you. I will try that first.

If not then I will just use admin commands to spawn stuff back in, knock it out then use super test meat to insta tame :P

Also note that the specific command to destroy one type of dinosaur will ALSO destroy tamed dinosaurs of that type.

So say you want to kill all argents, but you have a tamed one, using the code will remove your tamed one as well.

They also have the damagetarget command, but I am too scared to use it since it sounds like a world destroyer "Warning: this command can destroy the entire game map (including the terrain); its usage is not recommended."

Destroywilddinos is the command for a wipe without losing tames.

Don't EVER use "destroyallenemies"
always use "destroywilddinos" , it's a much better way to save your tames c:

Or just LeaveMeAlone, get close, and DestroyMyTarget? The smaller the range of your damage, the less likely the consequences will make people say things like "backups" and "rollback".
